September 2024...What a year it has been.
Christmas 2023 was, as far as the bar was concerned, CANCELLED! Bloody Weather! 2024 began with slowly, verrry slowly until opportunity knocked in mid-May. Soon, we were selling Swift Nick Rum and Spirit of Garstang Gin and Vodka at food and drinks festivals, agricultural shows and the like. A complete departure from what we are used to but a refreshing change and one that was doing well for us. It soon became apparent that we could do it everyday, not just at weekends and, to cut a long story short, we got a shop.
Since early August 2024 we've had our own little corner of Heskin Hall Shopping Village selling the finest spirits, beers and more from brilliant artisan producers. Our ethos is still much the same as it is with the bar, selling as many local products as we can, though as our range expands we are having to go a little further than we would like, simply because Lancashire can't provide everything the discerning drinker wants. One thing that won't change is our dedication to quality producers who have a real passion for their craft.
